 I Wish I Was A Dog


I wish I was a dog

I would sniff everything I would see

Playing with a log

And driving away the fleas


I would be as fast as a beast

So that no one could spot me

I would eat all the feast

Gobbling all the food on a spree


I wish my toys were destroyed

My toy box is always empty

The master would buy me new toys

Toys that are trendy


I am known as a pet

As I always need to be petted

Only if someone let

I would make my owner go into debt


Some think of me as a threat

Some think of me as just a puppy

I would make my owner upset

By my silly acts which are mucky
