I wish I were a book

I would be proud of myself

I should be liked by all age groups

I would be on every single shelf


It would be a book of fiction

So every child will like me

Reading me will not be a restriction

And they would be full of glee


You should not tear my pages

I would be very sad

This goes for people of all ages

Otherwise, I would be mad


I hope you will follow what I say

And give me devotion

So you should obey

So I would not be full of commotion
