The Jubilation Day


Dear Diarium,

Lately, we jubilated Ganesh Chaturthi. Oh, what an auspicious day it was! My mother woke me up early in the morning and I saw, that the worship place was ornamented marvellously. All the house members congregated to offer prayers to God. We all did the prayers together and the praise ended with a religious note. Then, we all watched holy films. We also distributed sweets in the neighbourhood. Guests were coming and going. We could feel charisma around God. I also made the idol of Lord Ganesha with the natural clay found on river banks. This all happened every day until the immersion day came. We respectfully immersed the idol of Ganesha in the Yamuna River by chanting Ganesh's name and slogans. We prayed to Lord Ganesha to bless our home and return home for puja next year.
